Equipment

  • blender or food processor

Ingredients

  • 6 cups packed basil, washed and de-stemmed
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup romano cheese
  • 1 cup pine nuts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients except cheese in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until coarsely chopped.
  • Add cheese and blend until incorporated.
  • Transfer to storage container and either refridgerate or freeze.
