Back To Basics
If you need a good basic hummus recipe check out my recipe for Easy Homemade Hummus. With only a few ingredients and a blender or food processor, it’s one of the easiest things you can make at home!
There are many ways that you can dress up a plain, basic hummus recipe. All the typical flavors include roasted red pepper, roasted garlic, artichoke, spicy. Those are all good and tasty, but hummus rises to a whole new level when you smother it in mediterranean flavors!
Swapping Store-bought For Homemade
I’m all for swapping out store bought things that we would normally buy for their homemade counterparts. Especially if it’s something super easy to make at home that will be as good {usually waaaay better} than the store bought version.
Typically, by choosing to make something at home rather than buy it at the store, you’ll end up with something not only healthier but cheaper and tastier, too. That’s a win-win in my book.
